Mother's Day

It's pretty exciting to be able to celebrate Mother's Day for the first time! Even though she's still in me, I am a mother. I've been taking care of her for the past 8 1/2 months, so it works out. Tyler was very good to me on Mother's Day! Saturday he went shopping for my Mother's Day gifts. He got me beautiful flowers that smell sooo good, an extremely sweet card, the Lady GaGa CD, the new Rascal Flatts CD, a pineapple, and a pineapple corer. Later in the day we went to Target and he also let me get a cute "Welcome" mat that I have been wanting for forever. He's the best!

Sunday we had a bunch of our friends over and Tyler made pulled pork. I helped a little, but it was nice to not have to worry about dinner and I'm sure the other mother's appreciated it as well. It was delicious! We went over to the park after dinner and played a round of Bocce Ball, which the Jacksons dominated.

We are both so lucky to have such wonderful mothers who are such great examples!

They are both so full of love and would do anything for any of their kids. I hope that I can someday be as great of a mother as these two! Love you both!
