Time Well Spent

While Tyler was studying for the Dental Boards he shipped me off to Utah! What a great idea!... right? I thought so! Addy and I had so much fun hanging out with her grandma and grandpa, aunts, and uncles. There were so many things happening while we were there! It was good to be "home". My older sister, Cassie, and younger sister, Jenna, surprised us while we were in Utah! They came to visit! Jenna was moving from Seattle and they drove out of their way to see us. The whole family hasn't been together since last October! Woah! We hadn't seen Cassie since then. Hopefully we will see her more often than that from here on out.

We went on a few hikes. One of which was the Grotto. It was really pretty and a fairly easy hike, which I was grateful for.




Addy spent most of her time going up and down the stairs, sitting in Grandma's rocking chair, sitting on Sadie, "patting" Sadie, playing catch with Sadie, and learning to open the front door.
She was so proud she could get into the rocking chair all by herself.

We also spent a day at the Zoo with Grandpa and Uncle Andrew. Addy loved the mountain goats, sheep, the most! Go figure. She of course loved the chance to ride the Carousel and train.

We had a blast in Utah! It was great to be with family and let Addy bond with my side of the family. I love seeing them with her! Can't wait to see everyone at Christmas!
