Jantzen Beach Outing

This weekend we went to Jantzen Beach to ride the carousel and see Santa! Addy had a blast and loved that Lexa was able to come!

Addy loved riding on the horsey and held on all by herself!

This girl has no stranger danger radar! She had a great time sitting on Santa's lap, smiling for the picture.

18 Months

Wow! A year and half has gone by so fast! I cannot believe that Addy is now closer to 2 years old! We had her doctor's appointment today. These are her stats:

weight: 24 pounds 47%ile
height: 31.9 inches 58%ile
head: 19.1 inches 92%ile
And her BMI is 16.6.

Addy is continually learning. Some new things that she does are:
~Counts from 1-10. (but usually skips 1)
~Says 2 and 3 words sentences.
~LOVES, LOVES, LOVES nursery. We left church early because I was not feeling well and she actually cried when we took her out.
~Will eat almost anything you put in front of her.
~Tries to dress herself and puts her shoes on and takes them off all day long.

Here she is in her cute Sunday dress!

She loves her daddy!

She has also started loving smiling for the camera, which I appreciate.

Isn't She Lovely?!

This little girl makes me so happy! I definitely get my dosage of laughs every day from her entertainment.

She has taken a recent liking to her "glasses". She loves to wear them around the house and look over the top of them.

On the way to Hermiston eating some french fries.

She managed to get both binkies in her mouth at the same time! She has also started covering her ears (a lot!), I think she likes hearing the different sound it makes.

And my favorite. We were getting ready to leave and I had to run to the bathroom. I told Addy "mommy's going to go potty", so she decided she needed to get her potty and put it on her head. Silly girl!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

This really is one of my favorite times of year (minus the cold weather). I wish Christmas was in July because then it really would be the most wonderful time of the year! Warm weather plus Christmas... what more could you ask for?
So far the tree has survived our little terror. This morning she did grab one of the shiny balls and proceeded to throw it on the kitchen floor. It of course shattered, which resulted in a big "uh-oh!".
There is also one ornament from my first Christmas, of a baby (it's red, you can kind of see it on the bottom of the tree) she has been carrying it around saying "baby, baby!"

Helping Daddy get the stand on the tree.

Lights on.

Lights off.

Our stockings hung with care.

We are so excited to have our tree up! I wish I could put presents under them, but I know for a fact that someone would be unwrapping them as fast as she could.

So Thankful!

There are so many things to be thankful for. I am thankful for my loving, wonderful husband and his hard work and dedication to school. I am thankful for my perfect little girl and how much she makes me laugh. I am thankful for my family (in-laws included). I am thankful for a great apartment that suits us and has cheap rent. I am thankful to be healthy.

We had a great thanksgiving in Hermiston with Tyler's family. It was full of eating, game playing, family time, shopping, and going to the movies. We had a blast!

Tyler made a chicken out of a cloth napkin... he was so proud!

Friends

It's always nice to have good friends... even from a young age.

These two have such a great time together. They are great pals and will hopefully stay so as they get older. It is so fun to watch Addy and Alexa's interactions. They are such little people already!

17 whole months!

Today my baby is 17 months old. I cannot believe how much she has changed in just the past few months. One more month until she is able to go to nursery! Can't wait!

Things about Addy:

~Addy is miss independent. When we are at the park she walks as far as she can possibly go before I can catch up to her (without a backwards glance!).
~She LOVES pickles, broccoli, apples, and popcorn chicken.
~Loves to watch her shows in the morning while I am getting ready.
~Talking up a storm! She is so good at communicating. She will usually tell me what she wants and then wait 1 second for me to get it (which isn't enough time) before throwing a fit.
~Still loves to sleep!
~Loves to wear daddy's helmet backwards and walk around the house.
~Tells daddy "no, no, no" when he's saying bye for the morning. She never wants him to leave.
~Always so helpful and polite! She's great a helping clean up her toys and saying thank you.
~Pretty good at sharing. When playing with friends she will say "share" if she wants a toy that they have.
~Walks around the house with her little purse and says "go buh-bye".
~She loves getting in things... at work she will climb in the cupboards and close the doors, last night she climbed in the dryer and shut the door.

Watching her shows...

She actually smiled for the camera!

We love her so much!

Book Worm

Addy loves to read. Quite often I will find her sitting in her room reading a book to herself.

I would like to think she gets this from me!

Do a Little Dance

She learns ALL her moves from her Dad!

Happy Halloween!

Addy was super cute for Halloween! We went to a party that our church put on. I think Addy had a blast playing with the balloons, checking out the costumes, and trick-or-treating. Tyler took her around and as someone would put candy in her bag, she would try to take it out. She found a sucker tree and took quite a few. She put them in her bag for safe keeping.

Here is out cute little bat witch (not exactly sure...).

Unfortunately, I am lame and forget to take pictures when we go places... so this is all I have. Sad!
