Cutest Girl in the World!

It seems that Addelyn gets cuter and cuter with each passing day. These past couple days I feel like she has grown a ton! She took 3 steps on 2 separate occasions on Friday (of course we did not get them on camera). She could totally walk if she wanted to, she just chooses not too. Stink pot!
She still loves to pull books off the shelf. When we tell her "no, no" she scurries to get away from it as quick as she can! It's pretty cute. Here are some pictures of her being naughty on Sunday in her Easter dress from her Grandma R.




Tonight at dinner she was being really cute and giving us cheesy grins and we managed to get a great picture of her 3 new teeth! She's too cute with all these teeth coming in! It makes her look sooo much older!


Please excuse the dinner that she is wearing... but this is a great close up of those new teeth! I think she is getting a fourth one in on the top right (your right).


Also, during dinner she pulled her shirt up over her eyes and started playing peek-a-boo with Tyler. It was pretty darn cute!



Addy has also started saying "ni, ni" for night, night. I usually say let's go night, night when I put her down at night and for her naps. Today at work I think she said it a few times when she was getting tired. Then when we got home and I was getting ready to put her down I was taking her to her room and I said "want to go night, night?" and she said "ni, ni, ni". It was pretty cute!
She is just growing up waaay too fast for me!

Movin on Up!

Addelyn turned 10 months this past Friday! (It was a busy weekend!) She has gotten so much more fun this past month! Here is a cute video of her from Saturday.


Addy's milestones from the past month:
~ Took one step at Grandma and Grandpa Romare's house.
~ Will stand for a few minutes until she wants to crawl.
~ Got 3 new teeth on the top!
~ Makes motorboat sounds with her mouth.
~ Addelyn loves Marissa. I think she's her favorite person, and I'm okay with that. (I need to get a picture of them together to show her when she's older).
~ Loves to do patty cake.
~ She is eating everything we let her. (She LOVES ice cream!)

We love our little girl and have so much fun watching her grow and learn!

A Visit to Utah

For Tyler's Spring Break we decided to make the long drive down to Utah. Stopping in Hermiston makes the trip seem not too bad! Unfortunately, Addy and I were both sick on the way to Utah and so it was not a fun car ride. Once we got there it was totally worth it though! It was so nice to see my family! Addelyn had so much fun playing with her Aunts and Uncles and Grandparents. Grandma even painted her little fingernails! We even got to see her Aunt Ambria! Addelyn loved all the attention, but missed home at the same time. I think she is glad to be back on her own turf and on her schedule. Grandma had a little photoshoot of Addy and here are a few of my favs from the event.

Did the Easter Bunny Come to Your House?

Because it definitely came to ours! It was Addy's first Easter and I wasn't quite sure what to do about the fact that she cannot yet eat candy. Then I thought of the brilliant idea of substituting goldfish (her absolute favorite snack) and cereals for the candy. She LOVED her Easter basket and that made me so happy! She had a blast taking everything out one-by-one and making a little pile of her treasures. You should have seen the excitement on her face when I opened her egg and out fell goldfish! So cute! We had fun relaxing as family, eating lamb for dinner (yum!), and watching conference.

Fun in the Sun!

The past few days have been sooo nice! We were lucky enough to get out Friday and Saturday to enjoy it quite a bit. Yesterday, Tyler got home from school a little bit early and we took Addy to the little park across the street. She LOVED it! Her favorite was the swing. She would laugh and laugh as we pushed her.

She also had fun slapping the seat of the teeter-totter and sliding down the slide.


We will have to take her here more often! It's so fun to see the things she's interested in as she gets older. I love that she is starting to interact with us so much more!

Busy Body

We have one busy little girl on our hands! If she isn't busy flushing the toilet, tipping the garbage over, or reading her books, you would probably find her here...



pulling all the books off the shelf! After cleaning them up twice in an hour, I decided to leave them on the floor. :) Good thing I packed those books today. Which leads me to our next announcement...
We're moving! Again! I know! We found a place in our ward just across the street that will save us a ton in rent and has more storage! It is a little bit smaller, but is still 2 bedrooms and even has 2 bathrooms! We're kind of excited... I think we started getting a little ansy because we haven't moved in a year (that's a record for us since we've been married). PLUS! What a great way to spring clean!

Miss Addy "helping" us move. The sound of the packing tape coming off the roll scares her and she whines, it's kind of cute. She also tries to unpack the box that I am currently packing... I might have to start packing during her nap times to be more efficient. We'll see.

Girl Time!

My good friends Megan and Marissa have birthdays that are just a few days apart! This year they decided to do a joint birthday party! What better way to celebrate than to have a tea party? It was a blast! We got to dress up, drink tea, and have girl time! I cannot think of a better way to celebrate their birthdays, I'm ready for someone elses birthday and another tea party!

I'm so glad that I have made such great friends here! We are all lucky to have each other and I don't know how I would survive the process of dental school without them! Love you girls!

On The Move!

I bought this toy for Addelyn today at a consignment sale. I did not think that she would be ready to use it yet, but she definitely surprised us! Look at her go! At this rate she will be walking in no time!

This is How Long I was Pregnant...

9 months! And now my baby is 9 months old! I cannot believe that it has already been 9 months. These have gone so much faster than my pregnancy. She is so big! We had her 9 month check-up at the doctor today. She got 2 shots and these are her stats:

Weight: 19 lbs 6 oz. 75th %
Height: 28 inches 75th %
Head: 45 3/4 cm 90th %

I don't think her head looks THAT big! Apparently, they think so. Hopefully the rest of her body will catch up!

Things Addy loves to do are:
~Eat Kix and Goldfish from her snacktrap
~Walk along the furniture
~Stand and then let go of whatever she is holding onto (she will stand for a few seconds on her own)
~She still loves books
~She is such a jabbery little girl
~She no longer has a clogged tear duct!
