Easter 2013

We had an extended Easter weekend.  We did Easter related things on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Monday morning Addy asked me if it was still Easter and was disappointed when I told her no.  Friday we had an Easter egg hunt with all the cousins.  We hid eggs in the front yard.  They each had their own color of egg to find, which made things a lot easier.  Addy's color was pink.

Saturday morning we colored some Easter eggs!  Right after we had an Easter egg hunt and barbeque with friends.  Addelyn had a blast finding the eggs and playing with her friends.  We had fun talking with adults and meeting some new people.

Sunday the Easter Bunny came and we went to church.  Addy wore her adorable new Easter dress.  She looked like such a little princess.  One of her friends had the same dress and she was so excited!

White gloves, white hat, white frilly socks... I love having a girl!

We had Sunday dinner with Tyler's family.  It was enjoyable and yummy dinner!  After dinner we played games and Addelyn decorated her ginormous Easter Bunny cookie from Costco... they were pretty nasty to eat.

I am so grateful to be able to celebrate Easter every year with my family.  This year Addelyn was so interested in learning all about Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.  It was such a testimony builder to hear her tell us the Easter story in her own words.  I am grateful for my Savior.
