Florida Day 5

Today was a day spent at Cape Canaveral, Florida.  We toured the Kennedy Space Center and had a VIP tour of the buildings they use to assemble the rockets.  Super cool!  We got to experience a simulation of a rocket taking off... super bumpy, but super cool!

The raise the gray doors up to get the rockets out.  Fits like a glove!

Apollo 5 space shuttle!

The van they use to get the astronauts out the the launch pad.

The teeny opening up there is where they pass rocket pieces through with a crane to be assembled on the other side.

The actual control room used for many space shuttle launches, including Apollo 13!

Neil Armstrong's actual space suit.

A piece of the moon!

After the Space Center we went to a Mystery Dinner Theater show.  It was a lot of fun!  It was an 80th Birthday theme!
