Oh So Sweet

Tuesday morning Addy decided that she wanted to wake up at 5:30. I got up and nursed her and then put her back in bed. She talked to herself for awhile and possibly slept for all of 30 minutes. I got up again and had to get ready for work. I gave her a bottle and came back and this is what I found.


I cam back a few minutes later and she had pushed her bottle out of mouth. She has never fallen asleep on the floor like this. Just way too cute!

A Mother's Love

I thought I knew the amount of a mother's love until I had this little girl! Now I know that I could never understand how much my mom loved me until I had experienced it myself. It makes me appreciate her all the more! I am so grateful that I have a wonderful mother that loves me. I'm also grateful that my daughter will get to experience that love from me! Hopefully she will understand it one day!

She looked so cute at church today that I couldn't resist doing a little photo shoot when we got home! I just wish I had a better camera!

She's Over the Half-way Mark!

I can not believe that my little girl is on the closer half to her year birthday now! She is 7 months old! I know I say this every time, but I have NO idea where all the time went.
Just yesterday she pushed herself up to sitting for the first time AND started crawling!! She is totally on the move now and I really need to baby proof the house. She gets into everything. As long as it isn't a toy she LOVES to play with it! Figures!

She is doing so many fun things! I don't know if I can list them all. I will try to list the more exciting ones!
~She finally has naps figured out! I can put her down and she cries for about 2 seconds before going to sleep. And she no longer cries at night!
~Did I mention she is crawling?! haha
~ She absolutely LOVES her food!
~She has become a pro at holding her bottle. When I walk into the room with her bottle she will stop what she is doing and lay on her back on the floor and just wait for me to hand it to her! So cute!
~Addy loves to just sit and watch the kids at work. She is fascinated by all that they do!
~She still loves to give me kisses and hugs and this I love!

Look VERY Closely!

And you can see her two little teeth! This was not the purpose of this photo, but once I realized that we actually got a picture of them, I was sooo excited! You can barely see them poking through her little gums. (If you click on the picture it will make it bigger and you should be able to see them better!)
Now... the reason for this picture is that she has a binky, unlike this one, that she uses ALL the time! I found this one in a box and gave it to her and she had NO IDEA what to do with it! She just kind of chewed on it. It was pretty funny!
PS... Please ignore her goopy eye... clogged tear ducts are no fun at all.

Little Trouble Maker

This little girl is ALREADY getting into things, and she's only almost 7 months old! I was cleaning her room today and had her playing on the floor. She was just talking away, I look down and THIS...
is what I see! Here's a closer look....

She found the only pen that was on the floor, turned it on, and proceeded to write on her face! I couldn't help but laugh. She is the cutest thing ever and I love her to pieces!!

Christmas! ... Where to Start?!

This Christmas was spent in Hermiston with Tyler's family! All of the kids and their respective spouses and children were there. It's the fullest the Bendixsen house has ever been on Christmas morning! (Just wait until there are more grandkids!) We had a great Christmas. It was so nice to see all of Tyler's siblings and to be able to spend time with them and get to know them better. I am so lucky to have such great in-laws that I get along with so well. I love them all so much!

Christmas Eve we went over to the Earl's (Tyler's cousin) house for festivities. We had a prime rib dinner, santa came to visit, we played Christmas Bingo, and talked! It was so fun! After the festivities there were over we went home and had a family Christmas Eve time. Dad talked about a story from the Book of Mormon and we got to open our Christmas Pajamas!!! We got matching jammies! So fun!

Christmas morning Addy slept in until 7:30... which means everyone slept in until 7:30, lucky! After I fed her we went and woke up her Aunts and Uncles! I think everyone was very happy with what they got for Christmas! Addy loved the baby food in her stocking and scratching the wrapping paper on the presents. After opening presents we dropped Addy off at Aunt Sheila and Uncle Gary's house so that we could go see a movie with the fam. Thanks you guys! :)

We had such a great Christmas and are so lucky that we were able to spend two whole weeks with family! I love that Tyler's family does some of the same traditions that my family did while growing up. It helps it to feel even more like home to me.
I am so grateful to have such a wonderful family (on both sides)! I am glad that I married such a great man who has the same beliefs as me. We are grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ, and for the life that he lived. We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Welcome to the Family Holt!

Tyler's little sister got married Saturday, December 19th. The wedding was gorgeous! She got married in a barn in Hermiston. The decorations were gorgeous and Tess' grand entrance was fantastic. I was lucky enough to be a bride's maid! I was so excited! We got to wear pretty dresses and be in lots of pictures! Unfortunately... I didn't take very many pictures, so I will have to wait until Tess gets hers and steal some. :) Tess was a gorgeous bride! Everything turned out perfectly and we couldn't love Holt (her husband) more! He fits right in with the family. It was good to see lots of family and celebrate this special day with Tess and Holt! She is now officially Tess Morris (say that with a lisp). haha

Surprise!!

Tonight Addy was chewing on my finger and I decided to feel for teeth! Come to find out she has teeth!!! When did this happen?! They have just barely come through, but they are sharp! Wow... 2 of them on the bottom! If you push back her tongue and pull her bottom lip down you can see them. So cute! I wish I could get a picture, but it's just too hard right now. What will happen next with my little one? It's all happening so fast... I wish time would slow down and I could just keep her at this cute, fun age for a little longer. I guess that's why you have more kids though... right?! haha
