Another Quick Trip to Hermiston

This weekend we were able to go to Hermiston for a quick trip. Cameron and Camilla were having their reception there this weekend. It turned out great! They just had it in the Bendixsen home, which made decorating really simple! There were so many people that helped out with the food and decorations, it all went really smoothly! The time that wasn't spent setting up for the reception was spent playing games and having tons of fun! It's always nice to get away for a weekend.

The pretty setup!

Me and Sara! She's so cute!

Sara eating a nummy strawberry! ;)

Cameron and Camilla! They've been married for a week here! Woot woot!

I love these two!

Precious!

My hubby and me!

Last, but definitely not least. My most favorite person in the world just being himself! Love you!

Our Little Peanut is a....

Monkey! hahaha Just kidding. We are so excited to be having a little girl! She was moving around so much during the ultrasound! It took the ultrasound technician an hour to get a view of her bum to let us know what the gender is because she was moving so much! We felt all along that it was going to be a little girl, so no surprises there! I am so excited to dress her up in cute little pink dresses! As far as names... pretty sure it's going to be Addelyn Nicole! I have loved that name ever since I was younger and Tyler approves (said it's ok). We'll see when she's born though. We are still "keeping our options open".

P.S.
On Saturday I will be 20 weeks! Which is half-way through my pregnancy! So crazy!

In addition... here are some pictures from our ultrasound! They aren't as good as the first set because she was being and stinker and would not hold still!

Her fingers! Nice and long!

Her big head (takes after her daddy :)

This is a front view of her face. You can see one eye really well and the other one just kind of. I think it's kind of a weird picture...

A Wonderful Week in Utah

On the 13th I flew to Utah to see my family since I was not able to spend Christmas with them. It was so good to be with them! I sure have missed them! It was fun to sit around, talk, and play games with them. Wednesday my parents took me out to lunch and Thursday Andrew stayed home with me and we played games all day! Friday they didn't have school! I love that they live in Utah now because it is so much closer and cheaper to go see them! Thanks Mom and Dad for lettings us stay with you guys! And thanks to Ambria for sharing her bed and then giving it up! Love you all!
One of the main reasons for the trip was so Tyler and I could attend Cameron's wedding. Tyler flew in Friday night and we had a busy weekend! Cameron married Camilla in the Manti Utah Temple. It was a beautiful day and not quite as cold as the day Tyler and I got married... bonus! Camilla looked gorgeous! And Cameron didn't look too bad either. ;)

Me and Tess with our new sister in-law! Yeah!!

Mom and Tess! So cute!

Camilla with her lovely bridesmaids!

Our sexy bridesmaid shoes! And very uncomfortable, might I add.

Bride and Groom with the parents!

Tyler and me being silly!

A good one of Tyler and me!

The bride and groom so happy at the reception!

Tyler and Cameron looking studly!

During the reception we managed to get Cameron's keys with the help of one of Camilla's sisters. With his keys we "decorated" their getaway car! We did an amazing job, if I do say so myself! Here are a few pictures to show our damage!

The pink dots on the car is chewed up bubble gum, we also used twinkies, chocolate syrup, car paint, and oreos! They loved it!

It's moving!

This weekend was spent in Utah. (I will post about that later). My mom was asking me if I felt the baby move yet, and I said I wasn't sure and asked her what it felt like. After explaining to her what I felt she told me it was in fact the baby moving! It was so exciting to realize that that's what I was feeling! Later that night as Tyler and I were getting ready for bed I felt the baby move and told Tyler to try to feel it. To our surprise he could feel it move too! It's so exciting to be able to feel it moving around inside of me. I'm glad that Tyler is able to feel it too.
This weekend I also started getting bigger. Before I just had a little bump that would sometimes appear (weird, I know). However, on Sunday I was a lot bigger than before and it actually stuck around! Sunday night I started getting pains in my ribs and we think it's because of how fast my belly is growing. Crazy things are happening! It just makes me more excited for this little baby to come!
I also can't wait until Thursday when we FINALLY find out what our little peanut will be!! I will be sure to let everyone know!

4-Week Checkup

I had another doctor's appointment yesterday! The doctor said that I am right where I should be. My uterus is developing normally, I am making progress in weight gain, and the baby has a very healthy heart rate! It's so good to hear the heartbeat every once in awhile and know that everything is going alright.
My doctor said that I could go find out the gender next week! However, I will be in Utah (which is a very good thing!). So, I have an appointment on the 22nd to find out what our little peanut is! I can't wait! I am dying to know! I feel like I have been waiting so long already!

Catch Up!

Me (and little peanut)!

Over our Christmas break, at home with the Bendixsen family, Tess would check my tummy everyday to see if I was starting to show! We noticed that after I ate I would get considerably bigger. Tess left to go home Saturday morning... on Monday I started showing! haha It is very exciting to actually be showing now! Hopefully people won't ask me where I'm hiding the baby when I tell them now! It's not a ton, but I have had a few requests for a picture so I am putting one up. I explain it as... if you knew me before you can tell that I am showing, but if not then you would have no idea!

Here's the picture of my "little" tummy... compared to how big it will be!

Change in plans for Christmas...

Because of the increased accumulation in snow (see below) and the fact that Portland does not know how to deal with aforementioned snow we were not able to make it to Utah to spend Christmas with my family. We were to fly out Tuesday, the 22nd, but our flight was one of the 250 canceled that day. Out of all the days we chose to fly back in August, we managed to choose the one that had the most flights canceled. After finding out our flight was canceled and waiting for me to settle down we talked about our other options: staying here (with now Christmas decorations whatsoever), going up to Vancouver (to spend it with Tyler's Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents), or going to Hermiston. We decided to go to Hermiston! However, there was one more problem. The gorge (which is the only way to get to Hermiston) was closed because of the weather. Yikes! We decided to wait and see what the 23rd would bring! Luckily, they opened the gorge in the morning and we were able to make it to Hermiston!
We had a great Christmas with Tyler's family! It was so fun to be with family and to be home! We were lucky to have a plan B that wasn't a huge hassle! We watched a lot of movies, played lots of games, and I even won a couple times in Dr. Mario! We also went up to Tri-Cities the day after Christmas to hit the after Christmas deals! Thanks for taking us in at the last minute Mom and Dad! We had a great time!
P.S.
Sorry about the lack of pictures surrounding this holiday... we couldn't find our camera until 2 days after Christmas! so lame!

More Snow!

We got a lot more snow than previously mentioned. Over the week (and a few more days) we got a total of 19 inches! That's the most snow Portland has seen since 1940. We were so fortunate to be here for that... yeah right! Tyler decided to take some pictures in the snow! He was very persistent at keeping up with shoveling our million miles of sidewalk for the complex!
He looks a little cold, if you ask me!

This was taken after only about 6 inches to snow. So... imagine this amount times about 3! Crazy, crazy snow!
