Trip to Utah June 2013

At the end of June Addy and I made the drive to Utah.  Camilla and her girls rode down with us, but were staying longer to hang out with her family while Cameron studies for the bar.  We left early Friday morning and got there in time for Tyler's cousin, Sara's, surprise baby shower at City Creek.  Lots of cousins came from all over for this and Sara's sister, Kari's, baby shower the next day.  My mom came up and got Addy and took her back to Elk Ridge for the night.  I stayed with Sara and like to think I helped get the baby shower ready for Kari. :)  I am so lucky to have married into such a wonderful family!  I love how close they all are and supportive of one another.  Saturday after the baby showers Camilla and I drove down to Elk Ridge.  I dropped Camilla off with her mom and then headed to my mom's house.  We went to dinner at Chuck-A-Rama to see Ambria and Alicia.  Sunday, we had dinner with my dad, Ambria and Alex, Alicia, Seth, and Andrew and went for a walk.  On Monday we went to Spanish Fork Reservoir, so Addy could go to the "beach".  Tuesday I went and got pedicures with Ambria in American Fork, for her birthday, and my mom took Addy fishing.  From what I hear she had a blast and caught 5 fish!  They brought them home and we ate them for dinner after swimming earlier that afternoon.  Wednesday, Addy and I had lunch with my dad at Cafe Rio... yum!  We went home and got ready to go to the Splash Pad in Spanish Fork.  After we spent a couple hours there we went home and then drove up to Lindon to have my dad make us pizzas for dinner.  Thursday morning, Addy and I left for home, stopping in Lehi to pick up Tyler's 1st cousin once removed, Hannah, to help us on the ride home.  Loved having her with us!

Father's Day

I am so blessed to have married a man that is such a great father to our Addy.  Hopefully there will be more children that he will have the chance to be a father to!  For Father's Day Camilla and I made Cafe Rio salads and got dinner ready.  Kurt and Susie got home from Sunriver kind of late, so we had dinner waiting.  We had a nice family dinner with Tess, Cameron, Camilla, Kurt, and Susie.  After dinner we opened presents and had bacon/chocolate chip cookies for dessert. 

Tyler and Tara's Birthday

Our birthday (how many people get to say that?!) was during an even crazier time!  We were in the middle of painting our house, packing, cleaning, and getting ready to move in two days.  We didn't really have any plans for our birthday.  Tyler's parents threw us a bbq a couple days before our birthday with the family!  We are so lucky to live so close to family.  We opened our presents there.  On our birthday we ended up going to Tri-Cities to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  Tyler and I had to sit on the bull together and I asked one of the waitresses to take our picture, and so she kindly did, however, she did not get any of the saddle in the picture so it turned out to be an awkward picture.  hahaha  After dinner, we drove back to Hermiston and went bowling.  It was a fun date night and birthday outing.
